Gallery on the Square is located on Island Square, between the Harbour and Porthmeor Beach, in close proximity to the St Ives School of Painting and the Tate, St Ives.

The gallery is run by Joni Farrington, who studied at Derby, Nottingham, Falmouth art colleges, the OU, Lampeter University and the University of Kent, before working in the educational field.

She has been involved in lifelong maritime activities and it is this pervading influence of the sea that she now seeks to convey in the essence of the gallery.
The aura is fresh, light and lively. This is reflected in the selection of quality, unique, contemporary art, displayed in a crisp, uncluttered environment.

All products are individually handmade and are generally only available locally in this gallery. Joni persists in her search for innovative, inspirational talent, both locally and internationally.
