The gallery is owned and staffed by Jane and Godfrey Rehaag.   After many years of buying art for their own home, and making many friends among the community of artists, they finally decided to open their own gallery.   Jane has a passion for interior design and takes charge of the choice and display of artwork. Godfrey is a chartered accountant and businessman with a love of art; he is a published writer and a trustee of the St Ives School of Painting and of the Bernard Leach Pottery.

The aim of the gallery is to promote quality contemporary art in all its forms: the work is fresh and lively, with what Jane and Godfrey hope is a timeless appeal, all displayed in a crisp, light and uncluttered setting.

The price range is wide and the intention is to sell individually hand-made products of quality and beauty, and to thereby support and encourage the artists making them.   Almost all of what we stock is not available in other local galleries.

Jane and Godfrey go to great lengths to find fresh artistic talent, and take much pride in the range and distinctiveness of what they have on show.   Every item on display has been chosen for its individuality and style - even the handmade ceramic buttons selling at £1.20 each - and is rather 'special'.   You will not be disappointed.
